We had a great last day before the Winter Break reading and doing a craft with our buddies and finishing the day with a wonderful concert.

We’re very fortunate this week to have the opportunity to work with author/illustrator of The Olympians series, George O’Connor. Students began to create their own inspired characters on Monday and will have two more workshops this week to develop their work.

It was wonderful to see the enthusiastic performance of our band and chorus members yesterday. They put on a great show.

Students had a blast conducting their own experiments with a variety of substances. They worked with a partner to plan for their investigation.

We were so excited to meet with our 2nd-grade buddies from Ms. Oliveira’s class today. Students got to know each other through a fun pineapple project. The pineapple is a sign of hospitality and we were thrilled to welcome the younger students to our classroom.
